My Journey to
Nurse Superhero.

Throughout high school, college, and nursing school I was very focused on reaching the destination (graduation, dream job, career goals, milestones, etc.) instead of enjoying the journey. As I have taken time to reflect and become more intentional, I’ve realized that the doing, growing, and learning of my journey have been the most important and memorable. Here’s a look into my Amayezing journey!

Welcome to HeyAmayezing! I am an Interventional Cardiovascular (Cardiac Cath Lab) Registered Nurse and healthcare leader. I created this platform with the intention of sharing my nursing and self-care journey, and empowering others to put their well-being at the forefront.

2013

A NEW DIRECTION Changed my major to solely Criminology and Criminal Justice to have the opportunity to incorporate more non-science classes into my course load.

2014

EXPLORED THE HEALTH PROFESSIONS AT NEW JERSEY MEDICAL SCHOOL (UMDNJ) Participated in the Summer Medical and Dental Education Program (SMDEP) (now the Summer Health Professions Education Program — SHPEP) at New Jersey Medical School.

2015

TOOK MY EXPERIENCE ABROAD Studied Public Health abroad in Manipal, India!
